Kevin Graham – Managing Director

Since 1995, Kevin has worked in various executive and General Management roles in the Asia/Pacific region and has over 23 years industry experience in engineering, sales/marketing, and sales & general management in the wireless communications sector. Kevin was the Regional Managing Director - Asia/Pacific/India for Simoco Digital Systems (SDS), whose business was based on TETRA Digital Trunked Radio technologies and major projects, which included software/hardware engineering, applications & project systems engineering. He has extensive experience in the region bounded by India, China and Korea through to Australia, New Zealand and Indonesia and dealings with European and Nth American parent companies.

Kevin has attended and spoken at numerous international and Asia/Pacific conferences and seminars, including attendance at TETRA World and the Asia Congresses. His has an extensive network of international contacts in the wireless/radio industry, together with his experience in dealing with regional regulators.

Prior to his appointment as MD of SDS, Kevin was Director – Sales/Business Development, Asia/Pacific for Simoco’s Radio Communication Networks, Systems and Products, having previously joined Simoco through its former organisation, Philips Mobile Communication Systems. He originally worked with Motorola as a Project & Systems Engineer after completing his Degree in Electrical Engineering (majoring in Communications and Electronics) then moved into commercial and regional management roles within the company.

Kevin is the current President of the Radio Site Operators And Users Association in Australia (RSOUA), Chairman of the Australasian TETRA Forum (ATF), Fellow of the Australian Sales and Marketing Institute and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Doug Bowden – Project Director

A successful Senior Project Manager with over 25 years experience in the Electronics and Communications fields in both the private and defence sectors and international experience both in the US, UK and Asia in the areas of, bid preparation, project management, subcontract negotiation/management and technology transfer.

Following a successful career in the Army involved in both ground and airborne communications systems; Doug has worked for, Rockwell, Boeing, NEC and Simoco in a variety of roles including Project Management, Quality Assurance, Technical Operations Management and Manufacturing Management. During his career Doug has successfully managed a variety of projects from the design and installation of weather radar and various communication suites into Army Aircraft through to the implementation of a TETRA radio network. Doug has managed both engineering and commercial personnel and has had responsibility for system design and project cost and schedule. Doug has also acted as Bid manager on a number of complex bids throughout his career.

Prior to the establishment of Global Digital Solutions Doug was the Simoco Project Manager of the Western Australian Police Digital Trunked Radio Network, a major Project implementing a TETRA digital voice and data trunked radio network providing communication coverage to the greater Perth metropolitan area. This project involved the design and implementation of the radio infrastructure including RF coverage and system capacity; microwave links; site selection and design; voice and data gateway interface design and integration; mobile computer interface to mobile radios and automatic vehicle location (AVL) design and integration; power solutions design and supply and the management of three major overseas sub contractors.
